Control Techniques for Oscillating Wave Energy Converter

Abstract

The presented work focuses on modelling, simulation and control of a typical heaving wave energy converter. The heaving wave energy converter is modelled and simulation studies have been performed for phase and latching control. . For comparison of phase and latching controls only the regular waves are used. The phase control itself is also tested with the irregular waves.
