UFUK ŞENTÜRK

Biography

Ufuk Şentürk, was born Afyonkarahisar/Dinar in April 1969. He is the first child of parents and has a brother. His parents are teacher. After complete his primary education in Dinar, he going to Bandırma for continue his education to regional boarding secondary school. And then he graduated from İzmir Finance High School. In 1986 he started to work in the Ministry of Finance. While he was still working, graduated Anadolu University / Faculty of Economics in 1990.

After he work 11 years, resigned from his position in 1997, and until 2008, he worked as a financial consultant. With in this period he established a computer wholesale company. He was join  the Energy Holding in 2008 and still has been active in the Geothermal Energy sector.

In 2011, he took an active role in the founding activities of the Geothermal Power Plant Investors Association (JESDER). When the association was establish in 2014, he was the founding member and  interim board chairman of the JESDER. Then, at the first General Assembly of the Association in 2015, he was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors and he is currently engaged in this task.

Ufuk is married and has two children.
