Abstract

The most important resource, not only in wind energy but also in all areas of business, is the human resource.

Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the wind turbines are critical for energy production, efficiency and payback period of the investments. Qualified human resource can add a value on this process with fast adoption and high performance.

Service Technician role has drawn attention as a key factor on the energy production and efficiency. Although companies have intensive training programs, technical background of the technician is creating the difference.

With the Wind Turbine Service Operations experience I will study the value added by technical background which is gained during formal education.
