Electro mobility

The world is in shift to electro mobility in transportation. Since 2010, electric vehicle sales have been growing every year with an increase of 50-55% . With the development of battery technologies, widespread charging stations, increasing ranges and cheaper prices, electric vehicles will be replaced by internal combustion engine vehicles. Namely, while the ratio of electric vehicles to all vehicles in the world was 0.2% in 2016, it is targeted to be 30% by 2030 by developed and developing economies such as USA, UK, China, India etc. (The EV30 @ 30 campaign). Nevertheless, Turkey now seems to have remained outside this ambitious goal and the sector is growing as slowly as possible.
