CURRENT SITUATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF ROOF MARKET IN SOLAR POWER PLANT INVESTMENTS

Abstract

It is estimated that SPP installed power will be 1,041MW with provisional acceptance as of March 2017 and SPP installed power will be 2.000MW by the end of 2017. The reason for the rapid installation until the end of the year is that the distribution cost of SPP land will be increased about 4 times, which will be commissioned after 01.01.2018. This situation needs to be evaluated from different angles of sector reflections.

It is seen that unlicensed SPP field applications are rapidly limited, and the application of roof applications is very limited. We believe that it is very important for the public and sector stakeholders to work together in determining the roadmap for the healthy development of the SPP roof market in our country with about 10.000.000 roofs.

Biography

He graduated from Istanbul Technical University Electrical and Electronics Faculty in 1986 as Electrical Engineer.

Between 1986-2001, he worked as an expert engineer in Netaş firm.

Between 2001 and 2006, AES Alternatif Enerji Sistemleri A.Ş. He has worked as an investment consultant for wind and solar energy in various companies between 2006-2011.

Between 2011-2016, Arıkanlı Holding’s renewable energy investment firm Arien Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. He  worked as a senior manager.

Since 2016, he has been working as the Secretary General in the Solar Energy Industry Association, where he is a founding member.

Born in Istanbul on 13 August 1965, Hakan Erkan is married and has two children.
