Biography
Born on February 20, 1964 in Amasya, he completed primary and secondary school in Yavuz Selim Primary School and Oniki June Secondary School in Amasya. He graduated from Istanbul Haydarpaşa Industrial Vocational and Technical High School. He graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Technical Education, Department of Electrical-Electronics (now known as Faculty of Technology, Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering).
He worked at TÜBİTAK-Marmara Research Center for 4.5 years between 01.01.1989-01.07.1993. In 1992, he was one of the 35 people who founded the Turkish Wind Energy Association during the years he worked at TÜBİTAK- MAM.
He contributed to the development of Kocaeli University Gebze Vocational School as the Head of Department and Deputy Director between 2001-2013. He is one of the pioneer lecturers of the Mechatronics Program in Turkey, which admitted students in 2001. He opened the ‘effective use of energy’ courses and taught the students by adding them to the program. In 2015, he retired from Kocaeli University.
He served as a member of the Board of Directors of EUROSOLAR TURKEY, the Renewable Energy Association of Turkey, between 2009-2016. On 06.04.2025, in the general assembly held in 2025, he again served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and this duty continues. In 2010, he was a member of the Organizing Committee of the World Wind Energy Association 9th World Wind Energy Conference (WİWEC2010) and presented a paper. In the following years, he took part in the organizing committee of the International 100% renewable Energy (IRENEC) Conferences organized by EUROSOLAR TURKEY.
