Biography

I was born in 1957 in Tokat, Türkiye. I completed my primary education in my village, and my secondary and high school education in Tokat city center. I graduated from the Ankara School of Commerce and Tourism Teacher Education. In 1980, I began my teaching career at Amasya Vocational High School of Commerce as a vocational studies teacher. I retired in 2005.

My spouse has been working as a Certified Public Accountant since 1987.

I served as a municipal council member of Amasya Municipality for the Republican People’s Party (CHP) during the 2019–2024 term and was re-elected in the 2024 local elections. As of April 8, 2024, I have been serving as the Vice President of Amasya Municipality.
I am married and the father of two children.
