Biography

Ahmet Aras was born in 1970 in Bodrum.He completed his primary and secondary education in Bodrum.In 1988 he was graduated from Izmir Maltepe Military High School.
In 1992 He was graduated from the Turkish Military Academy as system engineer.After having served successfully in a variety of domestic and international missions in the Turkish Armed Forces, he was retired in 2013.

After completing his service in the Turkish Armed Forces, Aras returned to Bodrum, his hometown. Besides having worked in the field of tourism management, he was elected as the President of “Ortakent Yahşi Development Association”.He led many festivals, organizations and projects in cooperation with both public and private sector managers with the aim of development and promotion of Bodrum.

He is still a member of Bodrum Chamber of Commerce Professional Committee and a board member of “Bodrum Hoteliers Association”.Having good knowledge of English, Aras is also father of two daughters, named “Defne” and “Doğa”.
