ABDÜL TAŞYASAN

Biography

Born on April 24, 1980 in Saray, Abdül Taşyasan; He is married and has 2 children. He completed primary and secondary school in Saray and high school in Çorlu. He graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University, Department of Local Governments.

In 2004, he started his working life in Saray Municipality and continued his career in Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration Saray Branch Directorate after Tekirdağ became a Metropolitan Municipality in 2014.

Abdül Taşyasan started his active political life as a member of the Republican People’s Party in 1998. He held various positions in the Youth Branch of the Republican People’s Party. Taşyasan served as CHP Tekirdağ Provincial Vice Chairman between 2016 and 2023. He actively took part in the CHP Economy Desk and Balkan Desk working group. He served as a member of the Red Crescent Saray Branch, Atatürkist Thought Association, TEMA Foundation and Turkish Air Association.

In the March 31, 2019 local elections, he became Saray Mayor Candidate from the Republican People’s Party. In the March 31, 2024 local elections, he was elected Saray Mayor.
